THE LION’S CLUB LABOR DAY FESTIVAL – hits Cave Junction’s Park with a parade on Monday, tough trucks Sat & Sun, not to mention carnival with food, music, booths, bingo , a softball tournament, and a Harley raffle throughout the weekend.

PAINT YOUR HEART OUT – this is a community improvement project where volunteers help paint homes for people in the community.

ARTISTS’ STUDIO TOUR – this is a tour of 10 artists in the Hugo-Jump Off Joe area, with demonstrations and art for sale.  This benefits the Grants Pass Museum of Art.

OLD CAR SWAP MEET – featuring a flea market, vintage car show and swap for cars and parts, this is hosted by the Caveman Vintage Car Club.

FALL WINE STROLL -  located Downtown Grants Pass this event features local wineries.  From 3pm-6pm stroll around town and sample the grapes of  So. Oregon.

DUCK DERBY!  is a fund raising rubber duck float held at Riverside Park.  For $10 a duck, not only are you contributing to worthy causes, but you will also have a chance to win prizes if your duck places in the race!  This event is sponsored by Josephine County Rotary Clubs.

ROGUE VALLEY SYMPHONEY CONCERT I – Jeffrey Biegel, guest pianist, will perform Lesz’s Piano Concerto #1 and  Emerson’s Piano Concerto.  Also  on the program are Haydn’s Symphony #45 Farewell and Barber’s Essay #1.  The Music Director Martin Majkutwill present a pre-concert talk one hour before the performance.
